Incredibly racist and offensive. I hate the Braves' chant too.

Really? Not the least bit racist?
Popular opinion tends to vehemently disagree. And this is what a 2 secong google search brought up about the logo referred to as "Screaming Savage" -- which is racist in and of itself.

I went to FSU. The Seminole Tribe endorsed and welcomed our use of their traditions.
The Assoc of American Anthropologist have done a mountain of research into this topic, which included surveys of native groups. The historic underpinnings to the assignment of mascots is of grave concern to most native groups.
George, you must be mistaken, there is no mention of batting practice caps???? I can understand the mascot argument 100%, but that's not what we're talking about.
Jeff, who exactly would you like them to reach out to?
I live in Oklahoma in the heart of Indian territory (don't call them Native Americans, most every one of the tribes around here want to be called Indians). Anyway, the most predominant caps and jerseys you see around here (besides the Yankees) are the Indians and the Braves (items with their mascots showing are very popular).
