That a pretty good point actually.
Take this for what it's worth. I linked Topps to this thread and here's their response

I think there were only 20 total golden tickets for these balls given out... Topps is replying as if its a redemption for like an item where thousands were released lol...
Like if we looked hard, we could probably locate the holders of at least half... Sh!t, I know of 3! Haha
As someone said earlier, they should at least give autos of the 3 named players... I will tell you a "deal" wasn't agreed upon for a few cases of crappy Archives.
Who spends over $1000 on a Topps redemption card? 98% of the time you don't get what you are supposed to get .
By "challenge", they mean that it's hard to get Willie to lower his signing fee to something Topps wants to pay.
Anyone read the tweets? Sounds like a few including the shop owner asked for a replacement and got it.
topps should look how leaf handles redemptions. i know leaf gets a lot of flack on here, but was very happy with the way that sent me mine.
Bingo!
Had two customers yesterday tell me how impressed they were on how fast they got their leaf redemptions back.
For something on the magnitude of a $1000 gold infused auto ball, you would think topps was totally sure it could be made, especially how they trumpeted the fact they had those 3 guys under contract.
