as of 11/23/10 I pretty much stepped down from the collection world
I'm old enought to know better, and young enough to do it againCool! That is a nice card for sure! Yeah, in collecting cards there comes a point where you realize you have spend as much as you are willing to spend and I am realizing that there are just a ton of Griffey cards out there and I can't expect to get every one myself but am thrilled with how many rare ones I have come across! Just wondering how old you are? I'm 32 but most people think I look around 26!![]()
hey, magic - what happened on Nov 23, 2010 that prompted your exit from collecting? If it's personal just forget i asked, curious is all.

well, seeing Griffey retired that year, I thought his BDAY was a good day to end on
ooop shouldd have read 11/21/10 sorry
Don't worry, The Crusades Family is fast asleep for the nightppppplease don't bring out the Red Crusade!!! Last time he did there was a pissing contest in here about who'd be willing to spend more money to buy one. I'm feeling broke and insecure enough as it is :-o
that works too - i was born in PA like Griffey (northeast corner, though) and went to La Salle HS in Cincinnati - Griffey was the best local athlete to come out of that area...ever. Never got to see him play while he was at Moeller though. More's the pity.
1st HRi'll have to remember that come next April
Wish I could have met him in person! That would have been cool!![]()
You still can, bro. He ain't dead yet!
