Browsing a 1998 beckett, I came upon this. Don't know if this info was lost to time.

I tracked the Ginter redemption prices. Seem most went to Jr collectors, the 1 or 2 that might get resold should sell strong.

That's why I have never been a big fan of redemptions! You never know how long you will have to wait for them and there is always the possibility that they may never show up.:(

+1. I would rather purchase the redeemed card. It would suck to spend that much money and get nothing.

I always wonder if that other I had was just a typo
set of 6 autographed Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards with a CoA from Griffey himself, originally distributed by a company named Preferred Customer Service. PCS intended to distribute 500 sets of six Griffey RCs through non-hobby channels and 200 of the sets were autographed by Griffey. The autographed cards included from 1989 are: Bowman, Donruss, Fleer, Score Traded, Topps Traded, and Donruss The Rookies. Griffey hit each of these with awesome blue sharpie signatures and each one is hand numbered ***/500.
