Topps could care less who orders and how many. They know people are going to order and have them shipped to other places. It's more money in their pocket. I don't expect companies to go exclusively direct to consumer, but they are all doing it now. Panini sells direct from their website too. Leaf sells on eBay. And these fly by night grab bag junk is being sold to consumers too.

I have never had a "chargeback" nor tried to do one. I often research things before I buy and if I don't then it's kindof on me. I assume some here are the type to buy into a casebreak, not hit some mega expensive card and then comeback and want their money back and/or turn the seller in for chance auctions. If any of the buyers contact me wanting their money back I will gladly give it back before I ship the items. I for one am really just wanting to get a cespedes auto out of this stuff and possibly a hosmer. I could care less about any of the other cards.

I got the PayPal authorization email, but I never got the confirmation from Topps. Just checked my Topps account:

Playing around with the cart again, looks like there are less than 1000 boxes remaining at this time. Unless Topps still hasn't allotted their full inventory up for sale, I'd guess there are only about 5000-6000 boxes made in total.

I was playing too.... 750 wouldnt work... but 500 would. I wanna add more... but just not sure how many they have available overall. Id love it if it was only 4000. 2000-1000-1000.... but Im sure they add more after these sell out.

I didn't get an email for this purchase or what i made during the president's day sale. Worst case scenario, I file 2 paypal chargebacks and file some BBB claims.

I get that as well. I wonder if people were able to check out with larger quantities than that prior to this new "feature".

From their responses on the page, it looks as though they have been takin gnotice of people getting by the rules. It makes you wonder if they will cut down on those that ordered more.
