A few of us have sets,its very nice
I read out of the 500 sets, only 200 were autoed, not sure what type of order they go I have 211/500 Looks like another mystery to solve............. if ya got em POST em
I always wonder if that other I had was just a typo
set of 6 autographed Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards with a CoA from Griffey himself, originally distributed by a company named Preferred Customer Service. PCS intended to distribute 500 sets of six Griffey RCs through non-hobby channels and 200 of the sets were autographed by Griffey. The autographed cards included from 1989 are: Bowman, Donruss, Fleer, Score Traded, Topps Traded, and Donruss The Rookies. Griffey hit each of these with awesome blue sharpie signatures and each one is hand numbered ***/500.

Yeah they look very nice. And I think the BIN is reasonable or even if they went for the starting bid.

Wow! That's interesting to know about the Griffey Rooke Auto /500 sets! Should make them even more valuable if there is indeed only 200 sets out there! Luckily, I do have a set myself! Here's my Griffey Rookie Auto set:

Decided to post this new pickup in here with a question: would you grade this card if it was gradeable?

I saw in the thread about toughest non s/n cards to obtain someone mentioned 95 UD Electric Diamond Golds and I came across a 2 card lot that included this one. The best one has graded at BGS is 8.5, and this card is crazy clean for being around since 95. Should be at fine 9 minimum. I know it's value is minimal, but would grading it enhance it? It's for my pc btw, I just had some sense of nostalgia since I idolized Griffey in the 90s growing up and his cards made me smile opening packs as a kid. Winning this is card for $15 was easy to bring me back some memories.

I think that it would probably grade at least an 8.5 or better if I had to guess. Not a big fan of graded cards but they usually add a little value to most cards. Most of my cards are game used so a lot of them would grade very high but the true value to me in them is the game used pieces. Hope this helps you out and let me know what you think of my PC? Cool! Glad you were able to get them for a good deal! Like you said they don't show up often and I got mine a while ago from a legit Griffey collector who was selling off his stuff.

nope talking about this set, I got all the paper work with mine, and one on EBAY stated about the 200 signed, which then I remembered about that sheet that stated he signed 200, maybe theres 200 random sets no order the numbering maybe?
maybe 40 of each 100 , that be 40X5=200.........
neverless kinda weird

it could be quite possible that sheet that states 200 might be a typo too, might have meant to read 500?
I've never seen a numbered non auto set/single like theses ever listed

I'm guessing that it was a typo and there are 500 sets which in my opinion is still pretty limited! It's just sweet to be able to get each of his rookie cards signed in a set besides the UD one but I already have that one signed as well!
