Huge 90s Wax Group Break Options/Opinions

I'm kinda looking for suggestions on the list I provided. Do people want all and do a 60 different box break or are there certain ones listed that people just have no interest in? Or do I try a 30 Box and do the other half the next time?


As much comments / suggestions / budgets etc I can hear from the better.

If I can get some time away from the family today/tonight I'll see if I can work on a structure if it was by team and by player.

Not so interested in the 95 Finest, 96 Leaf Preferred, no real big hits and those cards aren't that hard to find.

Agreed on the two , I had 95 Finest on there because Graded Ref from that year sell hi and I've seen some want lists with Leaf Pref Proofs on it, but those don't need to be on there

That's what I am afraid of, personally, I think at $90-$120 that's way out of my range... there's a ton of Gwynn cards I could buy, that I need, if I had that much laying around. Not saying it wouldn't be fun, though, so there that...I would just have to see it all when it's ready to go. If it was four boxes, and Padres cost me $15, I could swing that easily enough. Does that make sense? I am no way putting down what you are doing, just letting you know where I was at.
You already have done a ton of work just compiling that list!!

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Maybe we can split the Padres depending on price?

Gonna bump it one more time looking for suggestions and interest.

I think I am looking at doing a 30 box break this first break. And depending on how it goes doing the 2nd 30 box after that. So I'm think at this time depending on team if we go that way, cost will be $30-$150 per team for everything in those 30 boxes.

Ok, just to get a lil more details out and to gauge interest again. This is my "not final, but ballpark" breakdown of costs and the box list. Hit up those collectors you know on here and lets see if we can get this going. There is a minimum I would need to hit to do it, but I think it would be fun and great risk/reward per box.

Here are the 32 boxes for this break. You would get everything of the player(s) you buy in the break. That's all base, parallels (Some chances at some HUGE ones, one of my previous posts has some of the hits listed), inserts etc. If you buy a team, you get everything except for the players listed, still some great chances at tough parallels, and inserts along with the base.

Card with multiple players if purchased by different members would be "flipped" for or randomed. If they players are from a player and a team purchase the card goes to the player etc.

I agree with this sentiment. I haven't studied the odds yet, but $90 for Maddux seems like a huge gamble. I will break down the odds at some point this week and see if it works for me.
