Awesome!

I haven't found anything as of late. I have a few books on my wantlist though.

I have pretty much given up on looking at swap meets/used book shops/ etc. for auto'd books. Haven't found any in months, plus, I want to narrow my focus down to just books I REALLY want. I have several hundred signed books, but most of them are authors/people I have never heard of. Though I don't get too many "steals," I do get good deals on authors that I really want.

I've done the same, actually. I have a lot of nice finds though.

Looking has become more of a chore, rather than the hobby it was intended to be. I'd rather save the money for eBay or book signings.

Great Muta was AWESOME!

we are good (knock on wood).

Yes he was. Shocked WWF hasn't put out a best of DVD yet of him or some other company, since he never, that I can recall, was in the WWF.

I really enjoyed the characters of Muta and Nikita Koloff

Hey, Taylor.

Actually, I have gotten several lately, with a couple more on the way. Nothing general-public huge, but did get three different signed editions of Ishmael Reed books, an Iris Murdoch Franklin Library Signed First Edition, and a really cool Signed limited edition of Alan Sillitoe incoming.

Reed is an awesome, quirky, writer who I have always admired. His stuff is a little off-putting to some readers (hard-line lefty stuff, tempered with a LOT of unpindownable political views; Postmodern writer to the extreme).

Murdoch was a tremendously talented British writer who wrote some acidly tough fiction about the failures of the British social class hierarchy.

Alan Sillitoe was also British, one of the earlier "members" of the Angry Young Man school of writing in the 50's and 60's. SUPER excited to get the book (a collection of short stories titled, The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner)when it arrives here next week. I consider the price I got it for as a "steal," though most people would shrug their shoulders at it (about $60).

Holy crap Andrew, you lost me at reading let alone the description of each author
