David Peterson was consensus high school player of the year in CO - scouting reports on him say he's the best pitcher from CO since Roy Halladay.

These rosters blow last year's away. Wish I could be there, but I'll definitely be buying the cards, as usual.

Bellinger and Sheffield are both Vandy commits. If anyone going to the game could wrangle and extra signed card, it'd be much appreciated.

I always have to purchase a set, but have for the past 3 years. They get pricey!

I've read he has better stuff than his bro.

The question is - Will Justus prevail?

Eh, he's about the same size, and a lefty (fwiw, I've read in various places that they are anywhere between 5-10 and 6-1).

Jordan sat 94-95 even before the injury and had what was called one of (if not the) best breaking ball amongst righties in his class. Justus is good. In fact, I think he was Pitcher of the Year this year for Middle TN. But he is more 89-92 at this point and his breaking stuff is not as developed. I think he has much better control than Jordan, though.

I'm hearing that he and Bellinger will be very tough signs out of their commitments. Bellinger been committed since before his sophomore year. Now, 6-5, 235 power hitting lefties tend to get drafted high, but I'm still thinking he'll put on the Black and Gold. Justus' brother will be on campus as well, and I think that makes signing him that much tougher. Especially when you think about how good we've been at developing lefties.

As always, I'll be a buyer for these cards.

Just hoping the red edges don't mean an overabundance of chipping.
