I don't know if Rickey used or not but it would be easy to see why people would think that. Peoples bodies don't get to the point of Rickeys or Ron Gants or Gabe Kaplers without a mass enhancing substance like Anadrol, Sustanon, Winstrol, Dianabol

Have to disagree. Hard work and dedication will get you a long way, and those guys are world class athletes; and eating right is also probably the most underrated aspect of physique, because diet and nutrition actually controls roughly 60-70% of your body composition. If you combine eating right with working out hard, you can get ripped and you can build a lot of muscle mass without ever touching anything illegal.

I know this because I've done it myself. Granted I have used a supplement line but it's 100% legal and about as far from PEDs as a supplement line can get. I'm not quite as fit as Kapler/Gant/Rickey, but then again, I'm also not a world class athlete.

Point is, not everyone who is in great shape cheated to get there.

I mean, he was teammates with McGwire and Canseco, and he has the body of a 25 year old who IS on steroids. To me he's always been an obvious user, but I know he has his fan base here that love him, and I can see why. I'm not bashing him in any means, but that's my opinion.

He had that body because he took care of it and worked out in the off season. He never used and has never had his name brought up by any reporters. He ran 5-10 miles and stretched everyday (when he played).

Actually, Robert Fick is a good example of how pervasive steroids are in MLB. Everyone just assumes that the superstars are taking them, when the reality is that everyone from the superstars down to the AAAA'ers are taking them. Infact, it is those AAAAers that have the strongest motivation to take them, as if those guys can improve just enough to get onto an mlb roster, they can eventually maybe qualify for the mlb pension. For every Ryan Braun and AROD juicing, there are probably 15 to 20 Robert Ficks.

Actually, sprinting builds bodies like that. Sprinters have very muscular builds bc sprinting promotes your bodies natural production of growth hormones. Most world class and collegiate sprinters are jacked. Take a look at pictures of Jessie Owens at his peak, guy was all muscle and all natural.
