So if I want to buy a jersey, say jersey number one, which player would get a cut of that? The current player or everyone who played wearing number one before the current one?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Freedom Card Board mobile app

Current.

Where it gets hairy is multiple numbers. Notre Dame's two most popular players both wore #5 last year.

My only question here is why would Leaf do this in the first place?

Brian has to know the poop storm it will create. And clearly, I know, that is the answer to my own question.

Part of me wants to say good for him, because other card companies have done publicity stunts like this in the past, like the Alex Gordon Topps cards.

Then the other part of me wishes Leaf's legacy wasn't being tarnished like this, because they were once a great card manufacturer.

No slight on anyone here, I have no horse in this race, and didn't read but two pages of this thread.

NFL Quarterbacks in the 60's don't get retro-active pay equal to Aaron Rodgers.

Aaron Rogers name is on the jersey... So I guess for college, if they started putting names on the back, it'd be pretty clear who gets the cut

Did you know that A&M has made nearly $40,000 off Manziel in just two known fundraisers?

$20,000 to sit a his table at a banquet
$18,000 for a signed helmet

He is exactly who should be able to capitalize off his skills.

So, two people sat at his table, and no one bought a helmet? These fundraisers weren't too popular!
