February Pick-Ups

Picked up the 1/1 on ebay after I knew the cards were live and thought I would stop there. Then another collector offered me the /3, /9 and /18 redemptions at a pretty reasonable price so I said "Why not???" I love the way these look, they scan quite well!

So Ryu hasn't returned his Bowman and Topps Chrome but he returned these... Sick cards regardless!

Timing is awful for picking up Halladay cards with him retiring at the end of last season, but this about as tough as it gets for Bowman autographs. 1st year Bowman had autograph cards and the Gold auto's, besides for being incredibly tough, almost always have really bad chipping so I went for it.

Thanks. I've been loading up on Pujols all off-season in anticipation of his return and surpassing 500 homers. It's been a cool time because many of the cards are ones that I never could have dreamed of affording back in the day, but I've gotten older and prices have dropped dramatically which helps. I hope to be able to flip a bunch of them, but I get the feeling I'll want to hold at least a few lol. The Halladay is the type of card I have a hard time resisting...

Been a while since I've been here, started up the Markakis PC again, have a lot of catching up to do. Feels great to be back!

Especially excited about the 03 BCDP X-fractor, been looking for a Gem Mint copy for years, only 3 copies exist. The Tier One Bat Knob was just icing on the cake.
