Wow... it sure was a nice mailday. I didn't realize until I saw this that I'd never seen a 2000 Masterpiece before. At least they made the front foil different this time!

I don't mind. I got both (2000 & 1998 Ultra Masterpiece) for $419 shipped. I can say it was the most I've ever spent on one card. I got both of them together which helped with the price originally we were talking $225 each. It helped the seller to know that I was buying them for a player collection so he really worked with me. Took about a month to get the funds together and he gladly held them for me.

Yea congrats man. Good stuff. Wish I could land the Belles but just a little weirded by there being doubles of the 1/1 for him and obviously $ all things considered. At the end of the day were like $50 apart and I guess that's enough to kill the deal.

The $ was tough but Brady 1/1's are in much shorter supply than most player collectors. I've only ever seen 3 1/1's of him and now I own them. Yeah multiples of 1/1's is tough you never know with all the stuff that disappeared out Fleer's backdoor from the bankruptcy.

I don't recall seeing another one of these pop up in recent memory, either. The few Bat King Autos that have sold seem to go for big bucks, and even the non-Auto Bat Kings are good money.
Also got this nice little lot for next to nothing; that guy at the bottom left looks familiar...
