Half way through this year and in my opinion, the easy product of the year!
In a hobby where everything is so niche or insanely pricey (for one pack!), Prizm is such a welcomed product!
Off the bat, anytime a card is "chromed up", it's going to look nice. And that's what every card is.
By only having 12 packs per box, the price is very affordable and wallet/ collector friendly (what a shock, take notes topps).
A box typically yields the following:
Two autos (one of them on card)
3 low numbered colored "refractors"
3 "refractors"
An insert or SP a pack.
The autos are definitely an interesting mix of players as it spans from fan favs (Dempsey, Mazzillii), to former stars like Trammell, to legends like Ryan and Griffey, to today's stars and top rookies (Abreu) and prospects like Bryant and Buxton.
The colored refs are an awesome edition, something sorely missing from last year's.
In closing, a truly fun product to open, especially in the current marketplace!
