Half way through this year and in my opinion, the easy product of the year!

In a hobby where everything is so niche or insanely pricey (for one pack!), Prizm is such a welcomed product!

Off the bat, anytime a card is "chromed up", it's going to look nice. And that's what every card is.

By only having 12 packs per box, the price is very affordable and wallet/ collector friendly (what a shock, take notes topps).

A box typically yields the following:

Two autos (one of them on card)
3 low numbered colored "refractors"
3 "refractors"
An insert or SP a pack.

The autos are definitely an interesting mix of players as it spans from fan favs (Dempsey, Mazzillii), to former stars like Trammell, to legends like Ryan and Griffey, to today's stars and top rookies (Abreu) and prospects like Bryant and Buxton.

The colored refs are an awesome edition, something sorely missing from last year's.

In closing, a truly fun product to open, especially in the current marketplace!

He'll keep on repeating this drivel because........
1) He's a ***** looking for more FCB bucks

or

2) He's looking to con some more poor schmucks into his store to buy this lame, ugly pathetic panini crap

either is a plausible answer

I actually like Prizm.

Rag on it all you want, nothing has come close to selling (for me) as well as Prizm outside of the ridiculously priced bowman 2014 boxes.

I don't care what company makes a product. If it's worth it, I'll praise it. Topps, panini, leaf, ud, I don't care.

If it's dog ****, I won't sing it's praises. I think I've always made that abundantly clear wherever I post or go.

The absolute glut of $50 plus baseball packs (and monopoly) have done nothing but hurt the hobby, currently and future.

There's just so many times collectors will by a triple threads (insert nearly any stupid priced pack) pack only to land a Drew Stubbs auto continually. I've seen it happen oh so times. It sucks for the buyer and seller.

You might like it & that's ok...
but I believe you're in the minority with that opinon

It's the same design from the last few series of prizm -
you get less cards for you box as you did in the previous year
The sticker autos are ridiculous...if you cant use team logos etc...at least put some effort into getting ALL the autos on card, completed sales for the most part for these autos are pathetic even for some of the veteran autographs
Die cuts were once a novelty ...now they're just not needed

I just don't see the love for thiis product

To the OP
concerning high price products...i.e. triple threads
Try another supplier because you are constantly getting ripped off when buying only one or two boxes - because I believe he is selling you loose boxes from a dead case. Or better yet try buying a full sealed case - this way you'll know it hasn't been cherry picked and your customers will pull some nice cards I'll bet you'll be surprised

Also besides Prizm baseball and Bowman chrome what else do you put on your shelves to sell ???

I love Prizm (but in hand-collated set form this year). Even though it's logoless with slight uniform color changes, it's by far the best use of chrome technology ever since topps cheapened out on how they implement chrome technology. Prizm box reconfig for 2014, more inserts per box that I would have to try to get rid of and fewer base cards to build a set from, and box price on secondary market didn't seem to be dropping almost as if there was price fixing going on just made it easier for me to decide to buy a h/c set and pick up a few auto singles this year instead of busting 2 previous year-type-box-configuration boxes to build the set.

Mahoody...

You mentioned:
Same design
Sticker autos
Low resale
Out dated die cuts

Are you talking about triple threads? Because that's exactly what TTT is.

The reason you get less cards a prizm box now is because there's only 12 packs instead of 20. You know that.
