Kicking it real old school... I found this original 1904 Lithograph listed on eBay. Thing is, the print spelled Cap's given name wrong - "Adrain" instead of "Adrian" - and it was listed the same way. The lithographs was from a series of prints done celebrating the "1904 Movers and Shakers of Chicago" and included lawyers, businessmen, industrialists and other prominent Chicago men (yes, all were men back then). There were over 40 prints in the series, featuring artwork by the leading Chicago newspaper editorial cartoonists of the day. Anson was the only athlete, and really the print is celebrating him as a business man, as in 1904 he ran a prominent billiards hall and bowling alley. But cool that he is in a baseball pose. Think I got an absolute steal on it at $50 delivered. Anything Anson from that period is quite pricey. Since it came from a complete set, it's in remarkable condition for 111 years old.

Lowballed a Best Offer, got accepted. The Peerless Leader. #4/5
Well, I cancelled that out as I highballed an offer this weekend and got shut down.
That's a nice card, oddly enough, he declined an offer higher than yours. He must've thought you were just nicer.
Here's a recent pick up of The Peerless Leader

Nice T206. I plan on picking up a PSA 1 or 2 batting stance Chance at some point.
Curious... how can you tell the seller turned down another BO and how would you see the amount?
Hahahahahaha!Probably the one he left in the clubhouse after his ignoble early exit on his last day with the team. :-?
It's hard to believe it's been 11 years since he left. Time flies.Probably the one he left in the clubhouse after his ignoble early exit on his last day with the team. :-?
