Not a cook cooking / no grand kids to be found / presents are in car to go to family gathering . May all those traveling be safe / be happy . May all worship in their own way . Give thanks as you go out the door and praise as you go back inside . Help those in need and avoid those that claim to help . Make someone smile / laugh --this will make you even feel better .

Busy day today. Since we cannot have our traditional Christmas Eve dinner, we are cooking this morning and delivering to our son in NYC and daughter here in NJ. We are the Christmas Elves/Uber eats drivers ;-)
We do a combo of Eastern European (Vigilia) with 2 meat free soups and Italian 7 fishes dinner.

where i use to work hired an ITALIAN from the Bronx -five kids --- when they moved in i gave them a LIVE POSSUM to fix for supper -------- I don't know Italian but didn't look like nice replys--LOL

Good morning and I hope everyone has a safe Christmas Eve. Good words (the first ones anyway), Barry! Going to daughter's for dinner tonight and they will come over with the boys tomorrow morning to open presents. Son and daughter-in-law will come at the end of next week!

Morning all. Did Christmas with my mom and sister last night. Had way too many gifts to take home for Bennett. He got a sit'n'spin, little trampoline, and a few other toys. Gave my sister's kid some model rockets, and he seems really excited for them. I remember doing them as a kid with my dad and how much fun I had. Weather is supposed to be warm the next few days, but it's going to be fairly windy out so not sure when he'll get to launch them for the first time

Howdy, all...going to be a different Christmas for sure. We lost my dad to Covid in early November, so brother not coming in town since he was here for that (would have to quarantine again) and local family going out of town to visit my cousin since she's not coming home. So it'll just be us 2 and mom for Christmas this year. We'll make the most of it, though. =) Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!
