OK, question for all y'all... I am trying to validate the existence of these two Rickey cards. I have been hunting down anything I can find on the internet and I can't confirm nor deny their existence with certainty. Have any of you every seen a Rickey Henderson in these parallels?

2012 Panini Cooperstown Crystal Collection #120 (SN299) --- I know this one exists because I have it....but...what about these two:
2012 Panini Cooperstown Crystal Collection Blue #120 (SN499) ????
2012 Panini Cooperstown Crystal Collection Red #120 (SN399) ????

I would have thought if they are such high serial numbers that they'd be fairly common. But I've never seen one come across ebay in 10 years, which leads me to believe they don't exist (despite several checklists saying they do). Anyone got proof?

Looking at COMC's current and "sold out" listings, they've never had any card numbered above 100 in the Crystal Blue or Crystal Red sets. I think it's a safe bet that they only made cards 1-100 in those sets, meaning no Rickey #120. Despite Beckett claiming cards 101-150 exist and even pricing them...it would not be a first for Beckett to price cards that don't exist for several years.

I was at the Las Vegas "Mint Collective" card show at the MGM weekend of March 26/27
There was a gentleman there set up as a vendor with a table, and a banner proclaimed: biggest Rickey Henderson gu / patch collector
He was selling off his doubles / unneeded, but not liquidating.
I chatted with him a bit.
Everyone here know who I'm talking about?

Super sweet -- hope it didn't break the bank.

BTW, I have been collecting and following Rickey for over 40 years now and just heard this nugget for the first time a few weeks ago... Rickey is the only player to homer off of two active 300+ game winners in the same game (he did it as a Yankee against Phil Niekro and Steve Carlton when they both pitched for the Indians). Never ceases to amaze.

I’ve only ever player collected Puckett cards, been at it since 1987. Because of this, I haven’t spent a ton of time looking at other players across sets I’m used to seeing Puckett in. This is one of the reasons I enjoy this site since I can see cards of other players.

Anyhow, theres a listing that popped up on eBay when I search for Puckett with an image of common Rickey Henderson that I really liked and saw for the first time. I thought I’d share here, but am sure you Henderson collectors have seen it a million times. It’s a great image captured on the card!

That's weird, I have card number 7 from the 1995 A's CHP set and it's...a much less desirable player:

95aschp.jpg 95aschpback.jpg

Plus all of the A's CHP cards I've seen have the design of the above one, with no black borders. Did they make two different sets with different players and designs, or are you pulling our legs with a custom?

Not sure, what other years are there? Could be ‘94? There is little known info on these from what I gather. Would love to learn more.

Someone has a bunch listed on eBay, the same set as yours, as “early 90’s”….there McGwire, Stewart, LaRussa and Henderson, that I saw

Aren’t I helpful, lol
