Just a quick update: Sold the Attell cut several weeks ago for $1,000 and change in an off-ebay sale. Pretty much wanted to net $1,000 after PayPal fees so I structured the price accordingly. Regardless of whether certain people here- a card collecting board, not a top-secret pro scouting forum- believe that WAR is a shotty statistic, the facts are that it is indeed used more in front office decision-making than you think. I have seen multiple versions of his signature through some searching, although I must say there really isn't a lot out there to go by. With that said, Attell lived from 1884-1970.
