Not a fan of selfies but +1 for this.
Also LEGO has this set where you download an app then you can hold your phone over the bricks to see a 3D rendering of other buildings. I think something like that would be really cool with baseball cards

Raw. I try to avoid the total beaters but I'm oak with it being a little messed up, mostly because it's cheaper then

Just this year I started to try to put together a 1951 Bowman set. I'm about 20 cards in at this point, which is honestly further than I thought I would make it

Ok, you got me. It's not actually a card.
It didn't turn out as well as my '52 Mantle but I had a few things working against me. The canvas is 9"x12" so the proportions were a bit off and I am still very much an amateur. I wish I could have done the lettering and his hair better but I can...
Those look awesome! I'd love to see what the three Goodman cards look like when he signs them. My question is though, does he sign them "John Goodman" or "Babe Ruth"?

It's not exactly a PSA 10, but it turned out better than I expected.
Took me about a week from start to finish. It's the first time I ever tried something like this so I just used acrylic on canvas. It may not end up in the Louvre but it I'm happy with it.

I've always thought comics are pretty cool but I can definitely see the reasoning behind sealing it. If you've ever read any real old, or even just kind of old comic, they can fall apart or tear simply by turning the page. If I was buying something worth this much, I wouldn't want to risk that.
I kind of like it to an extent. I tend to stay away from autos and jersey cards now, mostly putting together sets. With the different variations, I think it's cool that it's possible to add variety to the sets or make a variation set if you want to. But at the same time it is ridiculous just how...
Topps posted this picture of players from the Under Armor All American game signing their first Bowman autographs on Instagram earlier. It's kind of a cool pic but does anyone else think it looks like a sweat shop?

Lately I've started keeping a list of collecting ideas that come to me. That is, sets or collections I would like to put together but probably never will for whatever reason. So on my constantly growing list now is:
2012 Topps Archives gold foil complete set
2011 Topps Diamond Sparkle complete...
Bowman is one set I try to put together every year but this has been particularly difficult and frustrating. I don't usually buy boxes so I pick myself some packs at my local lcs. Of the 3 or 4 jumbo packs I've bought, I've gotten the same prospects just about every single time. These packs were...
