Got to be careful with that set anyway, too many fakes. Lots of those cards from that set had plain swatches or 2-3 color patches. I seen a few tags/logos but not many.
My wife got me the Dale Earnhardt edition about 10 years ago, it got ripped open that day and when my son got old enough we started playing it quite often. He loves anything to do with cars/4 wheelers/monster trucks which is cool since it is my #1 hobby
I bought a large collection of Dale Murphy cards a couple years ago and out of 2500 cards I ended up with 1500 1989 Topps. 3 500 ct bricks. I would also go with his rookie as my entry as I just surpassed 250 total 1977 Topps.
Not sure on the pitching but they should have had enough offense with Belle, Baerga, Lofton, Thome, Ramirez, Murray, etc. IIRC they had Hershiser pitch a couple good seasons for them, and maybe Denny Martinez?
