Some very good points have been made in this thread. I decided to look into how much prices have changed on base packs of Topps cards and compare the change to a couple of other items people always talk about price increases on, gas and stamps. I based the 2013 price of a pack of Topps on...
My box did come in this morning as planned and the cards are great looking. The cards were cut very cleanly and the stock/finish of the cards is as good as any other high end product on the market. Got a little extra value in my box with the printing plate. Overall, I'm really happy with the...
Is anyone on here busting this product? I have 1 box that was supposed to arrive today but has been "delayed due to shipping issues" and is still sitting at the UPS facility in Earth city, MO. Interested in what people think who have already gotten theirs.
This is untrue. I have over 200 in the new slabs from my last sub I just got back last week and there is no problem. They also did not start using them at The National. You were either misinformed or you're intentionally lying for some unknown reason.
We have the same problem in Central IL with our shows, many people coming in, asking for a price, then looking it up on Ebay with their phones and offering what the last one sold for. When I set up at the shows was I a little higher than Ebay? Yes, maybe a $5 Ebay card I ask $7 at the show...
I hope Leaf or someone is able to find a valid argument that allows them to produce cards with logos. I like options with logos and hope they are able to use them without paying high license fees that result in higher product costs and also take away company resources from things like customer...
The whole thing was terribly painful. That guy was going to be the rock for the Cubs rotation for years to come. I still think the collision with Marcus Giles when running from 1st to 2nd was the cause of everything. Experts say otherwise, but I think that played a large role in his decline.
If you could just go ahead and list out all of the players that were in the storage locker, with year, brand, and description of each card, along with specific serial numbers that would be fine. Yeah, that would be just great.
Thanks. My LCS is getting one box and they are only getting it because I hit them up quickly when the announcement came out. I'm getting their only box and at a very good price too!
Vintage unopened has a very strong market and prices have been increasing at double digit rates year over year. Right now the auction is sitting at close to market value if you sold them as individual box when you include the buyers premium. Being in a still sealed case adds a premium too...
No print run announced and redemption autographs. Not buying this year after buying 5 last year and doing very well with them. Had they annouced a print run, even if higher than last year, I would most likely have bought in.
The Frazier Superfractor popped from BGS. Hit 9.5 with a 10 auto. I will pick it up at the Sun Times this Saturday and we'll see what the market will bear price wise.
Doesn't give a print run like last year. Any guesses on how many they made?
