    Were Razor Sports Icons authenticated?

What gawdawful quality control! That's most definitely not Catfish Hunter's signature or handwriting. It also shows the cozy relationship that Razor has built with Beckett. Only someone who thinks the Strasburg super was Gem Mint could believe this was a cut auto of Catfish.

One Month Until the Signing Deadline

You're the only one. After another 0-5 last night, his line is now .165/.284/.224. If he's not careful, they might fast track him straight to the majors.

    Earl Campbell Autograph Signing

What a small world! I live within walking distance of the San Jacinto Mall and my children and I walk the mall at least 3 mornings every week. I've seen the signs around the mall and have thought hard about going. However, I'm really only into cards so I'm not all that excited about the...

My Allen and Ginter Breaks - 2 hobby boxes and 3 blasters

Just in case anyone cares what these are yielding. The two hobby box toppers were Engineering Achievements Mt Rushmore and Alaska Pipeline. Framed auto of Trevor Crowe. Framed relics of: Prince Fielder, Shane Victorino, Evan Longoria, Mat Latos, and Carlos Quentin. Framed silk: 8/10 Brad...

    Allen and Ginter Blaster

To clarify, these are not at all short-printed and are extremely common. They are retail only, and fall 1:12 packs - which means 2 out of every 3 blasters contains one. If you can, cash in now, because these are $0.50 cards in the near future. edit - I meant that World's Biggest 1-5 are...

    Razor news and information

That's awesome. I am pretty sure that Razor has a few more of these that went unsold, but I missed the listing and have been waiting for them to list more Lyles stuff for awhile. Do you have your Lyles stuff scanned? I'd love to see all you 've got. Here's the start to mine (only the rarer...

Will there be any Jordan Lyles autographs in this product? Maybe one of those fancy prismatic jobs?

2010 Bowman Strasburg 1/1 AUTOGRAPHED BAT on ebay

Which is more dumb: A) this auction's attempt at humor B) spending $125,000+ on a Strasburg autograph card

Top 100 ballplayers of alltime! (imo)

What's actually absurd is that he finished 5th in the voting that year. Mickey Cochrane won the award with a line of .302/2/76, while Gehrig's line was .363/49/165. It was absolute highway robbery of the worst kind.

    New products announced!!!!!!

Re: Beckett Autograph and grading day tommorrow Well, that leaves out any of the big sports. It's gotta be something like bowling, MMA, or NASCAR. I just hope you can find a way to include Jordan Lyles autographs in whatever the new product is. Maybe as a "fan of the game" type insert, I...

Amazing Harvin Super Patch received today

First, I pulled this redemption so I can't be too disappointed. Plus, I thought for sure Upper Deck was going to declare bankruptcy before I ever saw this card - like happened to me with Fleer. However, this card is "amazing" to me. 1 - It's a sweet nameplate patch that contains part of the...

    OMG

Slightly OT, but I've always felt this way about Mickey Mantle. I know that he's popular to a bunch of the baby boomers who watched him play, but I have no idea how he keeps getting younger and younger fans. Come to think of it, there are many similarities between Griffey and Mantle in both...

    Check out this shill.

Neither of these cases is shilling, just examples of the eccentricities of the human race. In the first (much debated case), the buyer consistently bids $1 on cards that start at $0.95 (winning a lot). Sometimes if they are outbid, they will increase their bid to win, but often they don't -...

    Questions for sellers on CheckOutMyCards

The first negative to selling on COMC is the wait time (2 months for the basic rate of $0.15/card). I sent in over 600 cards 5 weeks ago and still have 4 weeks until they will be posted. My account was already charged the ~$100 in fees, so it's quite a wait before I'll recoup any of that...

Something different. American Heroes Live break. Case Scans

I absolutely love this set. I busted a case of this myself, and couldn't have been happier with the cards. I got some great cards like Gehrig GU pants, Magic Johnson auto, Erin Brockovich auto, space and Americana relics, but my favorite card is a pillow liner swatch card from the FDR white...

Help!!! Estimating the value of a card, Thanks!!!

I think that card could be worth $150 plus to a serious Longhorn collector. The player/sport collectors might be turned off by the wierd combination of athletes, but the UT collector will love the unique chance to get three Longhorn alums on one card.

Official - Nats NOT Concerned With Harper's Demeanor

Re: Official - Nats NOT Concerned With Harper's Makeup The question should be if Harper is concerned with the Nats makeup. What kid dreams of getting drafted by the Expos?

If a buyer offered to drop off a card to you....

I'm clearly in the minority, but I would say yes in a heart beat. I'd get the card quicker, cheaper, and with no chance of it disappearing in the mail. Also, I kinda like people, meeting new folks doesn't really scare me.
