As a Mantle fan I'm disappointed that he has nothing in Update (not even an insert) or Chrome. It's the first time he has no card in Chrome since 2005.
I haven't worked with my Mantle collection in a few weeks, and just today decided to update my needlist. I was shocked to find out that he has nothing in 2012 Topps Chrome (not even a base card). This is the first time since 2005 that he has not been featured in Chrome.
Going by your logic, since Trout didn't fare as well at the end of the season as Cabrera did:
Trout didn't help his team when it mattered - he should not be an LA Angel next year.
Edit: But, if it's Hamilton's choice, he may not be a Ranger next year...
