The 1999 Mariano Rivera Gold is a stellar card. Kind of stands alone just like him on the mound in that photo. Also like that it is a simple and classy variation from the base card.
McDowell must be an alcoholic.
No one in his position spouts off like that without being drunk.
Because of the confrontation with the dad and not his comments alone, he'll probably get canned.
Please add me for Anthony Johnson - College of Charleston -PG for Sacramento, Indiana, NJ Nets, Atlanta, Dallas and Orlando
Also Andrew Goudelock - NCAA 3pt champ - looks like he'll be in the league and only the 2nd CofC basketball player on cardboard.

We must think alike. When I got back into collecting a few years ago my first though was 1991 Stadium would be fun. But when I found that the 1993 refractors were available and most for under $30 I went that direction. I finished a PSA graded set in a little more than 1 year. Everyone is...
A personal favorite. They are fabulous looking cards.
1993 Select was one of the few sets I ever put together busting wax back in the day.
Why in the name of ___ is Dave Fleming in that set though? 1993 "Hot Rookie" Dave Fleming!
#ER2 Derek Jeter
#ER5 Ken Griffey, Jr.
#ER6 Chipper Jones
#ER7 Vladimir Guerrero
#ER8 Jeff Bagwell
#ER10 Frank Thomas
These may be the only HOFers on that list, as most of the others have been tainted by steroids. The writers are dead serious about no hall admission for users and too bad for...
Go Gamecocks!
Long time waiting on the first men's national title. Hopefully this breaks the seal.
Ray Tanner deserves this. Now there is more to his legacy than getting Carolina Stadium built.
Bradley, Marzilli and Christian Walker look like potential pros. Roth might have pitched himself...
The way he has been struggling he might retire b/f the end of this season.
I like Chipper and it is sad to say his days are done.
No way he plays next year.
Just to chime in on the 1997 Finest Refractor discussion:
Interesting to see the non-die cut "atomic" refractor - I think it must be a printing error.
Officially any gold "atomic" refractor should be die cut.
For Bronze Cards:
-Bronze Base
-Bronze Refractor
For Silver:
-Silver Base
-Silver...
Regular poster on the PSA board. Heavy focus on 1993-1999 Finest Baseball Refractors. I like that this board focuses a little more on "modern" material since that is the majority of my collection.
Sweet Refractor. That Maddux is probably my favorite card of the 1990's. Represents the height of my interest in the Braves and the game of baseball.
Same card is very very cool in the Jumbo version as well.
