Hello all. Need some advice from some old friends. I know I haven’t been here in a while, but I still trust you guys.
I’ve been sitting on my Orlando Arcia collection for years now. I got rid of most of my stuff years ago, but I just couldn’t let him go.
However, now that he’s a relatively hot...
Hello all. Checking back in after a few years (or maybe 1 year, I honestly can't tell time anymore). Glad this place is still up and running.
Anyway, I'm posting here to get some advice from guys or gals who have had their kids take up the hobby. My daughter recently discovered my old...
This apparently just happened in Wisconsin today:

Only nerds like us would have dozens more questions besides the "civilians" simply asking "why?"
What sport? Was he a pack searcher? Did he cherry...
So I opened my 2 blasters, 4 packs, and 2 big boxes of Bowman Platinum.
I got some Judges, some Bellingers, and some parallels.
The autos were atrocious, save for one.
Adrew Sopko
Carter Kieboom
Joe Jimenez
But the last autograph certainly made up for it:
So, it seems fairly obvious that these guys are driving up the price of the upcoming release. They could be the real deal.
If that's the case, I'm thinking about going big on blasters. That, and whatever mega box thing comes out with Topps Update. The rookie class this year is awesome.
Thoughts?
That is all. Amazing, got to watch it live on TV. I've always like Arenado, but how could you not after that feat.
Plus, someone or something cut his eye during the mobbing at home plate.
Or just keep a running thread?
I only bring this up because in the last few weeks, Eric Thames' BC autos have gone from pennies to $60-ish.
Who else is setting the world on fire ATM?
Thoughts? Prices have increased 3-4 times (depending on when you bought) since his trade to the Yankees.
Consider this: he would have to do at least exactly as good as Sanchez did during his debut and prices would only increase 10-20% from where they are now.
I can't see anyone being a "BUY"...
Didn't think I'd break any, but figured why not?
Average base autos, with one Mickey Moniak

Braxton Garrett REF
Cal Quantrill GREEN
Bobby Dalbec GOLD
I've been trying to get one for basically every Brewers prospect that has one. He's proven tough, so if anyone has one that they can move, LMK.
If you're interested in trading, I'd try to go in your favor. Let me know what you're looking for.
Thanks.
I love this time of year. Hot stove is the best.
It looks/feels/seems like Cutch will be with a different team on Friday, but who knows.
Same for Braun.
50/50 on Sale.
What do you hope your team does?
Me personally, besides getting a decent deal for Braun, would be to sell high on Junior...

Breaking: Jacob deGrom has been scratched from Sunday's start and is likely to need surgery to address the ulnar nerve. He is done for the season.
So the Walmart exclusive Platinum now comes in a sealed hobby-like box with 2 autos per box for $69.99. Based on the odds, it's a MUCH better deal.
I got two this morning and the results were pretty good:
And the the one that took it well over the top
8 offensive innings, at least 1 run per.

Sellers: it's between Cashman and Stearns. I'd easily give it to Cashman, unless you limit it to today, then Stearns.
Buyers: lots of contenders stood firm, but I guess the Dodgers did the best, although SF always makes the moves that always seem to help them the best.
