This video just showed up in my email. I have purchased low grade 1939 Horrors of War cards from Deans in the past. Most of his sports cards are a bit high priced.
His actual name is Cornelius McGillicuddy. He was born in East Brookfield Mass. in 1862. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connie_Mack
Here's some photos of his home.
See, you learned something new today. It's not a wasted day. :ROFLMAO:
An auction house has a signed 1925 pay check for Lou Gehrig in their current auction. The original check was made out to Gehrig for $331.66. With inflation, that would be $5880.66 in 2024 dollars. Chump change for some players today...
I belong to a google trading card group called Old Baseball Cards. There are about 120 members of the group. All the members have a want/trade lists of cards that they make on a webpage site. Where all the members can see the lists. The group has what they call RAOK (random acts of kindness)...
This is not my card. I just saw it a while ago on another forum. It's a cool post card from the 1907-09 H. M. Donovan post card series. It just makes me laugh every time I see it.

The guy was forging signatures of long dead T206 players. Some were even encapsulated by 3rd party authenticators.

I have a few 1993 Topps Finest baseball unopened packs that seem to be bowing the whole length of the card while still inside the foil pack. Would anyone that has some 1993 Topps Finest cards or unopened packs experience this kind of thing form this product ?
Thanks,
Dave
Would anyone know about un-opened baseball cards and un-opened non-sports card packs ? I'm pretty sure they're from the mid 90's. Or where I could find information on the please ? Thanks
