That's not even close to a good example of his curve. You can see it backing up a bit and from the catcher's movement it looks like he missed his spot. No knock on Julio though, he has an above average curve (saw him twice this year), but this isn't a great example.
Interesting that they charged him with Second Degree Murder. I think that's what drunk-driving related murders should be classified as, but unfortunately that's not usually the case.
Glad to see BA showing some objectivity and shying away from the typical confirmation bias a player like Tate would receive the benefit of in their rankings.
Mystery sig 1 is Carmona, #2 looks like Lee or a rushed Utley (don't know if he was even there)
The Crawford, Longoria, Hughes, Cahill, and Rivera signatures don't look quite right. Could be because of how the jersey was signed, being that it's not a very sturdy object to sign so there can be...
So all of your arguments are thoroughly debunked, yet you still keep turning to this. Team win percentage doesn't have as much relevance with pitcher performance since pitchers only face batters, so the relevant sample is going to be performance against the highest scoring teams, not teams...
Ok so I decided to total up their performances against the 10 highest scoring teams in MLB (Yankees, Red Sox, Rays, Reds, Twins, Rangers, Rockies, Phillies, Braves, White Sox):
Felix: 104.1IP, 27ER (2.33 era), 81 hits, 25bb, 99K
CC: 74.1IP, 26ER (3.15 era), 56h, 23bb, 65k
So it looks like...
This argument carries no weight. Felix has faced more difficult competition than CC and has performed better. From an ESPN article a week ago (because I don't have the time to complie the numbers right now):
Since you are apparently such a big Yankee fan, you probably don't need to be...
Yea man all the runs the Yankees offense scored behind him and all the innings his bullpen pitched while he was in the shower...very meaningful. He earned that. Some folks just don't get it.
How can you win a game if you never score a run?
Yea. I have no problem with him taking first if the ump gives it to him and he sure as hell shouldn't say that it hit the bat. That would just be stupid. But to grab your hand like you were hit, there's no excuse. I'd expect stuff like that from some European soccer player, not DJ. Honestly...
Yea man getting that opportunity and having the team behind you is very indicative of their abilities ::facepalm:: Even still, that doesn't have much meaning going forward.
