    Spot on. I worked at a shop at the time and we only had a few customers that were interested in it. I vaguely remember purchasing 1999 Ben Grieve golds for around $15 or so.

    Bit the big one, and bought a bunch of cards from Burbank...

    I've overpaid for some Jevon Kearse rookies and would've paid 5x's more than I did. They stock rare cards that you might not see for years, so the price for those amount to peanuts to me.

    The Seaver auto is definitely an authentic early 70's example. The use of it for this card is questionable. The Tim McCarver is laughable.

    I remember his 85 Topps reached upwards of $300 on ebay back in 98. The shop I worked at priced them at $250 and they would fly out the display case whenever we got them in.
