I have two premium submissions, both overdue, both no progress, both no estimated completion dates. I don't even want to think about my regular submissions.
Personally, I think it's very misleading. Now, if you know the situation, fine. But if you buy one thinking it's unique only to find out there are a bunch that are almost identical--man, that's ballistic time.
A lot of the old guard really took pride in their autos; they wanted every fan that got an auto leaving with a first rate sig. Guys like Mantle, Kaline, Lou Boudreau, Gehringer, and hockey greats like Gordie Howe, Jean Beliveau, and Maurice Richard.

Nice article! You're right about Greenberg being about the first to go when a dealer breaks a vintage set or collection. One of my interests is vintage Tigers, so I've been stoned hundreds of times on Hanks: "Got the Gehringer, got the Mickey Cochrane, the Greenberg sold right away." Good luck...
