There was a bonus card for the Players Weekend that was of Marwin and only has 14 copies. Not sure how they were distributed but people are asking stupid prices for them.
I'm putting these in the oddball category. I bought these two ACEO cards from eBay and have a third one coming. I am really disappointed. I thought these were sketches, but they are just Photoshopped pictures printed out on a laserjet. I'll have these three but won't be buying any more again.
My only addition this week was the third ACEO card. I am still highly disappointed by these. They are just printed from a computer. They will stay in as oddballs, but I won't be picking any more of these up.
And for some reason FCB won't upload the fourth image. It is the 5x7 version of this card. I don't normally buy the 5x7 cards, but the price was less than $5 shipped, so I grabbed it.
Two new Marwin cards and a rare Eric Bruntlett update!
Marwin is also in the new Tribute set. I'll be pursuing them, but half-heartedly. They made two different cards that are the basically same picture with two different color uniforms.
The first card is a 2016 Topps 5x7 Red Parallel. FCB doesn't like letting me upload the scans of these. Another one that I got dirt cheap.
Five additions this week, and one is so rare I didn't know it existed until a month ago.
2015 Topps Silver Framed
First one I've seen.
2017 Topps Now World Series Autographs
I got this for $25, which is a little high for Marwin, but to get these people had to pay $99 for the set and a random auto, so most of these end up on eBay for $100+. No way.
2018 Topps Now Postseason
2018 Topps Now (cameo) 905
This is Tony Kemp's Postseason card with Marwin on the back.
And now the card so rare I didn't know it existed until a month ago.
2014 Astros Postcard
I have every postcard from 2015 to 2018. Someone posted a picture of this on TCDB a month ago and I frantically tried to find out more about it. Marwin was not a FanFest participant that year and did not do the Astros Caravan, where these postcards are usually given out. I reached out to other collectors that attend these events and none of them had ever seen it. The person that posted the picture eventually got back to me but did not know where they obtained it. The only possibility that makes sense to me is that these were included in random Fan Packs requested through the mail. I request one every year, but timing is everything and I must have timed it wrong for this guy. I love getting these kinds of items!
Four pickups this week, but photos aren't uploading for some reason. I'll update later. Mostly just sad to see Marwin move to the Twins, but I'll still be collecting his Twins cards!
