Ok, so this seems like a decent place to ask this question: Whenever you first meet a girl(relationship wise) and they eventually find out about your collection, what's the first thing they really want to know about it? From personal experience, I always get the "Why don't you sell all these?". And you could even chalk that up to just about anybody I meet.

I feel it is easier to get out in front of it and explain how much money that is generated by the cards. No everyone makes money off thier cards but this is how I approach it.

Well, one way or another they end up getting an idea they are worth something so eventually, if you don't sell, it's like they don't understand why. I'm kinda confused. I never saw anyone who collects anything and ever wondered why they didn't just sell it. IMO, if they bothered buying the stuff, they probably did it because they wanted the stuff to keep.

Well, they usually find out about it when I get them in my room and gotten their clothes off

After I seal the deal, I don't really give a damn what her opinion is of my collection

My wife actually helps me with my collection. I did meet her at a baseball game, so she has always been into sports. She helps me scan the cards and everything. The only thing that sucks is she gets home from work before me, so I never get to open the mail because she always does. Of course, maybe she is just acting interested to humor me, who knows.
