Yeah, I thought so...well, good for you, if he keeps wanting to throw good autos away for a buck, keep taking them.
If I was in your shoes, I'd do what he should have done, gone to the LCS and see if they could be flipped to the owner for $2.50 a card...that leaves the LCS owner room to make a profit, and gets you a nice profit as well.
