$1 box autos strike again

Went to a local card dealers house for a card sale this morning & got all these from the $1 box. I actually had $50 worth of cards & I traded him a binder of newer inserts i have no $$$ into towards my purchase & $15 cash for all these. Keep your eyes out in the free to good home thread.

its not a card show just a local dealer having a card sale at his house, if you look it up on craigslist its on there. its in rancho cordova off folsom blvd. its today, tomorrow, & sunday....really nice guy

Nice haul. Bobby Borchering brings up bad memories - not even funny how much I've spent on his stuff and it's just sitting in the same box since I got it. Thankfully he's still very young (22) and will have an opportunity to play, but the market and his current status is going to make it VERY difficult to recover my investment.

It amazes me how some card dealers just throw decent cards out on the market for less than they could get with even a little effort.

Yes, there are a few dogs in there, but there are also a number of names with upside value-wise...

Was this the same dealer you got a bunch of autos from before, the one who basically only cared about Giants stuff, or am I confusing you with another member who posted about dollar autos awhile back?

Then your LCS owner is an imbecile...but priced at $4-$6 each, most of those names would more than likely move quickly out of his display case.
