$8500 seems really cheap to buy The Fridge's Super Bowl ring. Plus he purchased it at Mickey Mantle's Restaraunt which I'm sure does not sell discount memorabilia. Something seems off.

Here's an article from 2001 listing the sell price for the ring at 27K. I would imagine it could fetch close to 40k if auctioned today.
