Where they the same day I could pick them up at my LCS, or how about all the wrappers that were sent in from Japan before the guy that only buys a few boxes could send in his? How about answering my questions William Wallace? You did the same thing in my other post, you picked out the women reference and the crying in this one, but didn't answer any if my questions!

I know I bought a Jimmy Rollins gold refractor from 2006 off ebay that was not #'d and thought that it was. Maybe this is the case here with the Cardenas?

And now MY integrity is being questioned because a guy who didn't work for Topps handed me an uncut sheet and 2 incomplete cards that never left my basement, but that doesn't add any validation to the claim that Topps might have an employee that is distributing packs in a less than integrous way? Alright, once again Adam has me defeated by his superior intelligence, and he has the right to hurl insults at me because I'm just too stupid to understand him.

After reading the entire thread and having nothing vested in this promotion, I think it's just another case of Topps screwing the pooch.
I can't believe how many points that have been discussed that have absolutely no relevence to this situation.
Topps apologists abound.
Do you have a case against Topps? That's debateable.
Did Topps screw up once again? Definitely.

I got 8 cases on Tuesday. I got the remaining 22 cases on Wednesday. I paid for next day shipping on the first 8. This isn't new information. I've mentioned this before. Even my cases received on Tuesday were received several days after product was received by many others.

I didn't buy any Bowman because the price was too high for me because of the wrapper program. It wasn't worth it IMO because there was no guarantee the wrappers could be redeemed. I love to gamble, but not on a wrapper redemption program with a limited quantity rather than a set date like other redemption programs in the past. For me personally, it just wasn't worth the price bump on the wax. Sorry to those that got hosed. And not to attack anyone specifically, but could you use the same argument against a lottery commission if the overall odds of winning on the scratch-off ticket said 1 in 3.27 and you bought 5 tickets and didn't win anything? I'm not sure anyone who was shorted autographs has a legitimate argument against Topps unless Topps had a media release with "guaranteed" odds (if that's even possible) on all of the hits in the redemption packs.

Just called topps to find out if I will be getting packs. I was the last guy to get one. They had 1 pack left when they got to me. I sent in for 2 packs but hey guess I can't complain. I should get soon. Will post what I get.

I'm elated to get my one measly pack.

Can you be so naive after all the other manufacturer issues over the years to think there are no possible shady actions are occurring here? Sure, I agree that when people beat the odds no one gives back to make it square, but that's not the issue at hand here. It's an open board and you can make that an issue if you want I suppose. The point is the integrity of the process is in question, based on the hand collation and labeling of boxes alone that raises valid questions that people have a right to ask.

You hit the nail on the head with the last sentence. Odds don't guarantee anything, but when you received a large number of your packs in a box marked "Non auto packs" it raises a red flag.

Considering they where free to start I would feel the person I bought them from made out pretty well and I lost the odds. The same way I feel when I bust 10 cases and I don't get the proper amount of gold refractors. Now if guaranteed autographs where missing sure I contact them since they are guaranteed, but the rest are odds. And unless I bust 80%-90% of a product there is no way I can really claim I was screwed.

So my quick math tells me that 30 cases total, how many cases did you buy last year and the years before? Did you buy that many because of the wrapper redemption, or is that how many you get each year?
