the postcard is totally authentic,

It is whats known as an Undivided Back PC..... the type you were NOT allowed to write on back (only address on back was the rule), they were made/used from December 24, 1901 - March 1, 1907, thats why there is a blank side on front for the short message. Undivided back PCs like yours were only made for about 6 years, then they went to the divided back PCs (line down the middle of the back) in mid 1907 (some of the older undivided back PCs were used beyond 1907 though, til supply ran out) Divided back PCs you could write on back on the left side and the address went on the right side like PCs of today.

It probably wouldnt have any identifying markers on back besides the stamp box, and the photo is "printed", not to be confused with a real photo postcard "RPPC" which is actually a real photograph (no print dots)

value is undetermined
If I had it and needed to sell it, I would send it to SGC and have them slab it. You would want to photocopy the "good" info from the internet and the info you should get from a thread you should do on Net54 and this thread, so SGC can slab it with "Frank Baker" in the flip. The link that Gracecollector showed with the previous description of the same postcard is the best from this thread.

then Id either put in on eBay or a major auction house, and then notify Net54 with one last post on the same thread you should start (hint hint :))... telling them you have it listed in *** auction. that way they will bid it to its true value. if you go and just try to price it, you may undervalue it (lose $$) or overvalue it (turning people off)

its either unique of one of only a small few... Ive never remember seeing it, but if you post it over on Net54 you may see a couple more pop up as those guys often have this kind of stuff

PS your 1905 Postcard is WORTH MORE than the ones pictured above, even in it poor condition
because it is OLDER, and thats #1 with the collectors who seek this stuff
