Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Progression Thread *Updated 3/31*

Ok guys I have once again another late night update. I bought each of these cards unsigned at Chantilly and are the first to come back in my batch of TTM requests from last week, both of these arriving in 6 days. Bob Friend was a 3 time all star. Here are the addresses for each if anyone here is interested in writing to them they both sign for free.

Nice TTM additions. I always like the ones I can get TTM or IP the best.

Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Progression Thread *Updated 3/31*

This is a first for me a second update on the same day but this morning's update was yesterday's mail, here is today's mail Rocky Bridges, Ed FitzGerald and Johnny Logan. These put me at 96 in hand but I will be over 100 by the end of the week. Also just realized I forgot to crop these so I'm going to have to fix them.

Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Progression Thread *Updated 4/2*

Sorry for the big scans but I don't have time to resize them until tonight as I'm getting ready for work but I thought I'd get this updated today. These are all from ttm minus Joost who recently hasn't been signing ttm so I bought him off ebay. Les Moss was a pain in my butt I ened up buying 3 unsigned one as the previous 2 never came back, today I got a previous letter back as well so I have 2 of him now maybe the 3rd is coming. These put me to 102 in hand.

Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Progression Thread *Updated 4/15*

Got a new one in today Morrie Martin which puts me at 112/225 one more and I am offically over 50% all in about a year. Half was the goal for the end of the year guess I am setting a new goal probably gonna be 150.

Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Thread *Updated 4/22* 50.2% Done

Ok guys got one in today. Ernie Johnson who I got ttm, very sloppy autograph but he is 85. Ernie puts me at a milestone on this set as he is number 113 out of 225 which puts me at just barely over 50% not bad for just over a year. I have a few more coming in including the last deceased Yankee I need Vic Raschi.

Thanks for the comments guys, MaineMule don't do it with yours but you could buy this one http://www.legendaryauctions.com/LotDet ... otid=96611 :D. Danny don't be envious you have a great collection, and your ttms were one of the reason I started this project. I tend to believe its all Uphill from here but we will see there are about 10 more cards I need to buy to get them signed but the guys who died in the 60's and 70's are gonna be rough.

No chance would I ever do such a thing...... ;)

Yeah, saw several items in that auction that made my jaw drop.

Continued good luck with this project.

Re: 1954 Bowman Autograph Set Thread *Updated 4/28* 52% Done

Ok 3 more in today, the Raschi is the big one because I am only short Billy Martin to have all the deceased Yankees and he died in 88. AL Corwin and Owen Friend also are deceased, The Corwin is badly creased so maybe I could replace that one down the road. I also scanned with the lid up this time let me know if the scans look better.

Got both of these in today, puts me down to 2 living HOFers left. Also brings me up to 121/225, I'll be surprised if I get any in tomorrow but next week should bring a couple more. 150 here I come.
