On a side note....I noticed no one has started a Brett collectors thread. Any takers? I would.....but alas....already sold all the good stuff! Still have tons of "common" oddball and regular cards to sell....

Go ahead. Just post some of the more interesting cards you still have. I'd certainly check in from time to time. Isn't the 1976 Topps Brett one of the most elusive 1970s cards in PSA 10? Are there any out there, or are we still waiting to see the first?

I just picked mine up for a couple of bills. Everything seems legit on it.

Had a chance at a Dawson in summer 2010, but I was broke at the time. Pretty sure it went for <$50 too... ::facepalm::

Thats a beautiful card!

Speaking of Ryno, after all these years, there is STILL only ONE spa 10 of his 1986 Topps base card. THAT is pretty crazy

Wow! If I ever get these last 10% of his 80's-90's cards, I plan on jumping into the PSA fire by attempting to get all his PSA 10 Topps cards. Seems like a challenge with the '86.

Now, another zero feedback seller has Aqueous Test cards listed (including Brett). Something just doesn't feel right about this situation. Seems odd that 2 zero feedback sellers would have those, but I don't know what to think.

Definitely an odd situation. I mean I guess I can see the last Brett sale bringing some sellers out that have these cards... but still... 0 feedback sellers... odd...

This is just insane. Is it the same guy selling both of them under two different ebay names? BOTH with zero feedback? You don't just "find" these cards in your attic. They did not make it into regular packs. What gives????

Here is a question for you.....do any of you know if the 1990 Donruss cards can be found without the period after the INC ??? Are these then being taken and "stamped" with the aqueous test across the back? Just askin'........

I can't remember if the 1990's are this way, but I know some of the other years could be found with and without the period after INC. I think it had something to do with factory set versions vs. non-factory set ones. The thing is though, if they are stamping the backs with the Aqueous Test, they are doing a very accurate job of it, as it's in the exact same place when comparing the examples up for sale now to others that I've seen in the past.

What is amazing to me is that I have never seen either:

184 - Roger Clemens
189 - Rob Dibble

I have checked on PSA and have asked Chandy and he has never seen them either.

Sort of along the same lines, but how could these be "faked" if all cards came with the "." after Inc?

I'm hoping that the original Brett sale just brought more out of the woodwork, like we all assumed would happen. Seems very strange to have 2 very similar new sellers, but a big sale brings new people back into the hobby, or more specifically, ebay. I might bid on a couple and see what develops. Chandy still sells lots of 10 from time to time and a few singles here and there, so maybe these are a lot more common than originally thought. It's definitely not hard to find people with pretty good hoards of them. Hey Ron, did you see a Robby Thompson got listed? Don't you have a pretty good stash of him alone??
