Now, another zero feedback seller has Aqueous Test cards listed (including Brett). Something just doesn't feel right about this situation. Seems odd that 2 zero feedback sellers would have those, but I don't know what to think.

Not sure about the two sellers, I took a chance and purchased the Thompson from the guy on SCC, he told me that his ebay ID is carl_rando and that he isn't associated with the other seller, alwez4sel. But both of their descriptions on ebay for the Aqueous cards are identical and both accounts are from the same area. So who knows.
And the one was shilling the other. Pretty obvious.

Yeah, I would think so at this point. I've been trying to work out a deal for the Thompson listed on ebay and in the last three hours the buy it now price has jumped by $100, no bids at $100 so let's raise the starting bid to $180. ::facepalm::

Glad to hear you got the card and it is legit. The guy that bought the brett got his as well. Appears the seller really had a stash of legit aqueous cards.

Wasn't me either. Yes, they are crazy. I think that Tai, I, and some other folks on these boards routinely throw pretty solid coin at Sandbergs and more often than not get blown out of the water.

Still haven't heard back from the second seller though, was hoping they were two different people who just happen to have Robby Thompson Aqueous cards.

An Eddie Murray popped up. Is it legit? I already have a real one but... the one on Ebay looks fishy.

Somebody PM'd me on another board with a Dave Henderson to sell. So I offered him $15. He said he was going to list it on eBay for $100 because of the prices the Brett and Ripkens brought recently. So pointed out to him that this was DAVE Henderson and not RICKEY Henderson, that Brett and Ripken are both Hall of Famers with lots of deep-pocketed collectors and that two lots of 10 commons each went for $70 ($7 per card) and then offered him $12. I haven't heard back. So I'm still in the market for a Dave Henderson!

Does anyone have a fake one of which they can post a scan?

I used to have a scan of one from a website that was selling "Aqueous" cards, the font was way off on the cards though. Unfortunately after digging through my files, I can't seem to find it. I'll keep looking though

Pretty obvious fake. It really doesn't look much like the real thing. I wouldn't be surprised if better fakes don't start showing up given how much some of these sell for.
