You'd think the way these have come out of the woodwork lately that another Butler would have shown up. I'd love to grab another and get it slabbed. It's unlikely, but maybe I've got the only one? Is there someone out there working on a complete set that has one?

And I am still amazed that not one #189 Rob Dibble has shown up.

Every time I see a 1990 Donruss card in a dime box at a show, or in a shop, my first instinct now is to flip it over. I'm sure there's someone out there with a few of these stuffed in a box, not knowing what they have, moldering away in a basement.

I even do this with my own cards that I've had for 20 years...just in case. Same goes for 1990 Score, 1993 Cooperstown Cards...almost a complete waste of time, though I did find a 1994 Collectors Choice Silver Back variation the other day.

Are you sure Dibble has one? Remember, they either have the Aqueous Test or the Blue/White Test Issue, but not both.

He's appeared in all the checklists I've seen, but who knows for sure if they are accurate until we get a visual.

Never thought to check the Cooperstown Cards, it wasn't till I got here that I realized how rare they are. I also check 1990 and 1991 Scores, 1990 Leaf and 1993 Flair (especially Nolan Ryan) for the promos, and, if I remember, stars from 1994 to look for the Superstar Sampler singles. I doubt I'll ever find any of the above, or an Aqueous Test, but the payoff for the extra second to flip the card over is huge.

Someone overpaid [ebay:noc2xzlm]261001786609[/ebay:noc2xzlm] ::facepalm::

Seeing how that's the fake one the buyer bought from a now banned ebay user he is reselling, I'd say your are 100% right, I'd guess top value at about 10 or 11 cents (to use for informational purposes)
