2001 Absolute Memorabilia Home Opener Souvenirs team set done!

Well it's taken me 13 years but I finally got in the final card that I needed, The Manny home run version (#/25). Ive only seen one other one and even though I probably overpaid, I'm so stoked to finally be done!

I finished the Pedro set a few years ago and have been waiting for this day for a while.

So off any that you might have!!

The card is from 2001 and they aren't jersey swatches but pieces of bases. The back of the card has a picture of the base that the pieces came from. I wish companies still did that.

Even though it's "just" a base, those home run cards are still one of the coolest game-used sets out there. Topps needs to come out with a card with a big swatch of a base and have the players sign it like they do jerseys and bat barrels. The basic version could be signed on the plain white cut-up base and each player could have a limited version /5 that is signed on the outside of the base that was actually touched and shows more texture and use.
