2002 Justifiable Prototype RCs?

I found someone on eBay who was selling Joe Mauer RC prototypes for VERY cheap... anyone know what they are? I doubt they were that special, but are they hard to find? I figured, for a buck, I would buy one... as I don't have any Joe Mauer RC

What is the difference? It is from his rookie year...

These cards are given to dealers prior to when the product is released. The number on the back should be different that the actual rookie card.
