They are not serial #'d on the back. Were they pretty common or did they have a limited print run (like the F/X blues having only 25 copies)

They're not scarce at all, as far as I know. About 2/3rds of the set is available on COMC, most for 70%-90% off BV.

Ok, weren't 2004 xfractors #'d/125? That's the only reason I asked. Topps is so finicky with their #'ing system.

For BCDP (don't recall info from BC and believe they were different, but in case this is what you are looking for) The print run was pretty low IIRC. I remember /250 for RC Auto's (and googled an article that agrees) and I believe the print run was less for non-signed cards, maybe 150 though someone else can confirm (or tell otherwise.)

According to the Beckett Almanac:

"2003 Bowman Chrome X-Fractor cards numbered 1-330 were issued at a stated rate of one in nine hobby packs.
Autographed cards numbered 331-350 (with the exception of 332, Jose Contreras) were issued at a stated rate of one in 199 hobby packs at a stated print run of 250 sets.
The 332 Jose Contreras was issued at a stated print run of 50 sets.
The 351 Willie Mays card was issued at a stated rate of one in 58 box loader packs."

So....20 xfractor autos totaling 4800 copies. They fall every 199 packs or 1 every 11.05 boxes. 4800 x 11.05 = 53,040 boxes made. Base xfractors fall 1 every 9 packs OR 2 per box. 53,040 times 2 = 106,080 base xfractors.

106,080/330 = around 321 xfractors each for #'s 1-330.
