One last addition. I think the BDP draft can be a bigger success if you drop the draft slots from 180+ to around 100. I am just using this as an example, but would you rather pay $10 for a slot to have a chance at a Heyward, Moustakas, Laporta, Price, Burgess Auto or pay $7 for a chance at ending up with green RCs of Matt Chico, Jon Knott, Mark McLemore. If you really wanted to draft one of those players, that is your choice, but I think the draft slots should be reduced to offer more of an excitement for the person buying the slots.

I guess that's the chance we take when enterring a draft, as I know for certain if there was a draft up on the board's that was anymore than 7ish per slot then I'd pass it up & not look back (& I think this board would probably agree). 10 slot's for $100 just doesn't sound good to me, especially when you're still not guaranteed a top 10-15 spot! :D

Well, you would actually throw in some free draft slots just like Johan is doing so it would come out to under $100. Oh, and I know all about not having a shot at a high draft slot. I purchased 29 slots in that last draft we did and my first pick was at 15. I don't know, just trying to come up with some new ideas to help these guys out.

Right, this is what you would do with the various hobby boxes as well. What I did with the 16 hobby boxes I had was 150 draft slots. If there was a big hit (auto/g/u/low #'d card) from an undrafted player, it was raffled off.

I personally prefer the player draft as well b/c it'll be cheaper. Someone could buy one slot for potentially $5-10 instead of paying $30-40 for a slot.

But the team draft works as well and takes less time to coordinate. But I thought player drafts were great!
