That is unbelievable! I'd sell the junk ones personally just to recoup some of the cost of the case and rip the great boxes. I just don't understand how you could resist!

Edit:::: Please please please open the Ruth box!

If the case was Upper Deck or Razor, I would have thought they accidentally gave you the case that was intended for Beckett.

You got to open at least one of those old timers.

Since you are "Getting Rid of it All", per your sig, those are some nice boxes to "go out with a bang with".
What's the hard choice? If you are quiting the game, just sell.

If it was me, as already mentioned, I'd sell the other boxes to offset the $$$$ and open the last 5.

I don't see a high risk in opening the big guys. If anything, it's high risk NOT to open the Ruth and Cobb. Even a Ruth or Cobb 3 or 4 piece memorabilia card would sell pretty well. Plus, there's a chance of pulling a cut signature.

How bad would it suck to sell the Ruth box with a cut sig inside?

To me it really makes no sense to buy a case of this stuff for the sole purpose of finding out the player boxes and selling them unopened. Unless you hit the mother load like in your case, I don't see how you could make your money back or maybe even break even.

Makes no sense.

This would be more than amazing live break. You'd recoup your cost by selling the first 5 and selling SOME of the hits from the last 5. You'd probably come out being able to keep something rather nice.

Don't listen to these guys - seriously - do what you think is right. Most of the time, the ones who sell the boxes unopened make out like bandits. For example, remember those Gold Football exquisite boxes - some guy paid $10,000 for it and got like $2,000 worth of cards out of it.

HEY LISU!
glad you made it over here - must have missed your other posts -

and agreed, if you want "value" then sell the boxes sealed!-
if you want "fun" open 2 or 3 and sell the rest -
