I want to see how well Tribute, Sterling, and Ultimate turn out before crowning TTT.

Yes I will be very intertested in Tribute and Sterling. In TTT it seems that every player has a Patch 1/1 and a patch thingy #ed out of 3. Some are letters from the name and some are from patches and Team names. It would seem to leave alot of extra patches and letters to maybe be used in some of these other high end products yet to come out.

so much for the final sentence ------- speaking for the most of the board

eh, it's true

the people that don't like it feel the most compelled to speak

but are you speaking for the rest of the board or just for those not compelled to speak up?

I made a generalization

now quit being an ass

The game used cards are beautiful.
But any set that includes garish shiny stickers is, in my opinion, eliminated as product of the year.
I'm not criticizing anyone who likes them. It's just my taste.
To me, this card is very ugly, now matter who signed the card:

I agree that it's find of goofy that the Pujols sticker doesn't match

I wouldn't turn that card down but I wonder if the companies even notice stuff like that before they pack out

Why should they care? As long as the product sells....

I believe the expert from PSA forum confirm the Albert P on this card is fake. Someone patch themselves and selling a lot of TTT that have some real with a fake auto. This explain the low ending price so be very careful

heh

stanthemanmusial is no expert

ya know, it's funny anyone can claim to be an expert, and some will believe him.

it's very unlikely that these are fake because the stickers are built into the card and would require some very precise cutting to do the kind of swap he was suggesting

Oh boy, if I had known all the speculation was coming from stanthemanmusial I would have instantly known to ignore it.

Albert is one of the highest paid players for autographs in Baseball, I seriously doubt that any that Topps puts in are fake with the money he gets paid for each.

Yes, Stanthmanmusial is an arrogant conspiracy theorist tool, but I do believe the Pujols autos may be fake, but not by the ludacrous way Stan suggested.
It is completely plausible that a friend or family member signed the stickers, without a Topps representative present.
I'm no Pujols expert, but the TTT signatures just look off to me, and not because of the different sticker.
But maybe they're just old leftover autos from old stickers.
Didn't someone on the PSA board submit one to quick opinion and it came back as likely not genuine?

It's gonna have the usual competition from fellow Topps product Allen and Ginter.

I dunno about you guys

but this product has been DRASTICALLY improved from 2008

When the voting for FCB product of the year goes live in January, I expect this set to get a ton of votes.

It really has something for everyone

And someone on this board sent it in and it came back likely genuine. The PSA quick opinion is just that. It is very quick and it is just an initial opinion. It is a great tool to have, but it shouldn't be the entire basis of an argument.

This is only POY for people who buy singles or for a box breaker who pulls a Cobb/Ruth/Mantle.

For the vast majority who get a Joakim Soria auto and an Ervin Santana GU, it is a bad product.

Imagine this: you plunk down $100 for a pack and pull an insane TWENTY SIX piece game used card of Ichiro, list it and wind up LOSING MONEY.

Singles buyers? POY
Pack/box busters? SOY
