Wow.

I've tried a box or two of TTT each of the last two years. I'm 1 for 3 on pulling awesome stuff, but it's easily one of the most fun breaks available. I'll be pressing my luck again this year.

I'm usually good for two or three boxes as well. Yeah, the design could be better. But what's not to like about a card like this.

The fact that it's pink
I think they could have done a much better job design-wise last year.
I agree with a lot of what Gellman says, but i did like 07 better than 08.

Pink is good. Pink Floyd, the Pink Panther, Pinky Tuscadero. What's not to like about pink? :D

The scan did not come out very good. The color is actually red.

I'm not the biggest fan of foldouts either. Mainly because of the storage issues (which I guess are being worked on).

In general it's one of the things that annoys me with recent issues. There is no consistency to the pt. size thickness of the card. You never know what size toploader you are going to need from set to set. It reminds me of 89 Bowman or the 92 GameDay football cards. While there's nothing wrong with the design itself; the fact that the cards are not of normal dimensions makes them a pain to store.

Just purely based on looks I like TTT, and own Grandersons anyway.

I've never liked the regular die-cut game-used cards due to their seemingly random stats and use of patches, jerseys and bats, but it is my favorite set for letter patches. I hope there are a few nice vintage letters to go for this year. I won the four below from last year's set and I don't remember any others that I missed. There's a Pujols on Ebay right now, but they put the U in too low so it looks like the Roman numeral II.

Just because Ruth is on the card does not mean its worth anyone's time. Topps' goal is just to cram as many relics on as possible. No worries that the actual player is an inch high. That is an ugly card, regardless of who it is.

I would take a Ruthian swing pose card over that crap any day.

Plus, is it even game used? What does it say on the back?

I haven't seen that one before, but I rarely buy patches of current players, especially young players like Zimmerman. That would be a great card for a Nationals collector, though. Even if that card sold for half of it's asking price it would be more than what I paid individually for any of mine. If Zimmerman keeps playing like he's doing currently I hope to pick up a nice patch like that of him in 10 years.

pro mold is working on a case for foldouts

That is great news. I've been using Ultra Pro 25-count two-piece boxes to hold mine, but they just aren't secure enough. Hopefully these hit the market soon. :)
