I doubt you remember, but you offered me $15 for it.
Supply and demand, for sure. No one knew these would be so tough to get, especially when they first came out. There is no reason these aren't a $20 "Artist Proof" type card.

I can't remember if I have both of my Palmeiro's. I know I have 1 for sure. I may be missing the higher numbered of the two he has in the set.

Had to remember where I had them, haven't paid attention to cards in a few years. I'm almost sure Raffy has 2 cards in the set. I have the higher numbered.

20 has always stuck in my head but I no longer recall if that was speculation or if that number was stated by UD. It was a big checklist and certainly some players have never been seen. Not sure how much unopened product is still out there (I'm guessing a lot) but a lot of collectors probably assume it's closer to 5-10 of each (in fact I think someone owns at least 5 Bam Bams?), if they were in fact even released in the same quantity for all players in the first place.

Edit- I guess what I'm saying is I don't know the answer lol

Anyone have any idea how many of each might exist?
Unless 2009 UD was such a crappy product that not much of it got busted, I can't see how 20 of each is possible. To this day, I have only seen one Butler - it was several years after release; I count myself lucky to have nabbed it.

I picked up a bunch of these on COMC earlier this year for cheap. I've sold a few on ebay including the Joey Meyer to Brewer Andy. These are the ones I have left. Never seen a Brady (I do have the 1990 Buyback). Sorry about the cat hair on the scans lol. I really need to clean my scanner.

[h=3]20th Anniversary Buybacks[/h] These are 1989 Upper Deck cards that are stamped with a "20th Anniversary Buybacks" foil logo on the front. Upper Deck claimed all 800 cards were produced in even quantities.

I looked back through my old messages, looks like you had the team checklist card, not his regular card. Yeah I wouldn't pay $75 for that, but I would for his regular card. At the time I really didn't know the value of these so I offered $15, you never replied back with a counter offer or anything.
