Ok, here are my observations.

1) Strasburg was a variation auto in BC, and will likely be the same here, so don't panic if you don't see him on this CL.

2) Chrome Autos #s 61 through 67 are all new. Choice, Cox, Brentz, Ruffin, Olt, Deglan, Grandal.

3) The base prospect set has been expanded to include not only all of the new autos, but the USA 16U team as well.

4) No AFLAC checklist, but that's not surprising, as Topps never includes them on these inserts.

I'm mixed on the auto adds, here are what the adds Elite autos sell for.

Choice Elites - $10-$13
Cox Elites - $15-$20
Brentz Elites - $4-$6
Ruffin Elites - $4-$6
Olt Elites - $5
Deglan Elites - $2-$3
Grandal Elites - $15-$20

I think everyone can agree the changes to the auto set are nice, but as someone posted above take a look at what EEE autos are going for for every player in the set and the average break is going to be a loss. EEEs were all first to hit the street so even though Chrome is king it is not like Chrome prices will be 2x EEE. Based on EEE auto prices you can expect close to $20 an auto factoring in the color as well. That gives you $240 on a $700 case of cards. You factor in appx. 2-3 chrome sets per case and that might be another $150. I don't think you can find $300-$400 in value from the base prospect sets, refractors and other cards. I have no idea what to expect on the USA autos and inserts but since these guys are only 16 I don't think the any autos will fetch more than $10 each. You always have a shot at Harper which will be a $750+ hit but those odds are going to be slim. The other HUGE risk is QC on a break. Every Topps product this year has had a major issue from the missing Strasburg AG minis, bending of Topps Chrome, missing Golds from Topps Update and the Harper BC issue. What will it be for Bowman Draft???????

Has the green RC checklist ever been this big!?!? Seems like 55-65 cards is the norm. Now its 110 greens, 110 prospects/USA, and 32 AU.

Hope the coallation is better because I couldnt put a set together with a case of BC.

That's correct, previous years it was:

55 Green RC
65 Prospects
35 Futures Game

Now we have

110 Green RC
110 Prospects & USA

Also, as an unfortunate sidenote I had JUST hit upload on turbolister on presales of draft lots when the new c/l came out ::facepalm::

Everyone of these kids are 15 & 16 years old. The concept is nothing new to the USA brand.

I just wonder why he wasn't included. He was a regular two-way player for the squad.

It sounds as if this product is going to replicate bowman chrome in production run. double the checklist to allow more production. I hope I am wrong.

I know it's nothing new. But just imagine BEING 15 - 16 years old, a freshman or sophomore in high school, and your baseball card is available in packs of cards.

That's frickin' cool.

Oh, for sure. Imagine having to sign 2000 stickers for cards at that age. wow.

Now, imagine being the only player from the gold medal winning team to not be featured on a card. That must suck.

Anyone who knows a Topps rep ask them why there's no Brent Morel cards.
For now, you're stuck with his 2008 Bowman Draft cards and his 2010 Bowman auto.
Example (not mine)

He will be another reason to buy the Box Set! (see "Rendon")

If they even got him to sign stuff. He might not even be in the boxed set, along with Rendon being an omission as well.

Technically, Rendon wasn't on Team USA because of his injury. I can totally see Topps not having him as a card with all the shenanigans this year.
